"Karabakhmemorial.com" project is dedicated to the memory of victims of military crimes committed by Armenian military forces against peaceful dwellers of towns and villages away from the frontlines of the Patriotic War.
This initiative is a part of
Karabakh.Center project, which, spearheaded by First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, was set up to systematize and bring to the attention of a wider community the unbiased information about both the reasons of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and the consequences of Armenia's military aggression.
Primarily, Karabakhmemorial.com has been set up to update the global community on the consequences of the terror committed during the Patriotic War by Armenian invaders in violation of all rules and principles of international humanitarian law.
The Armenian military crimes against Azerbaijan's peaceful population claimed the lives of 93 civilians between 27 September and 10 November 2020, 12 children and 27 women among them; 454 people were wounded.
On the overall, the war saw nearly 30,000 shells and 227 rockets launched on towns and districts of Azerbaijan; they dealt considerable damage to property, destroying numerous residences, auxiliary structures, residential blocks, governmental buildings, mosques, churches and cemeteries.
